Hello All! My name is Sabrina Michel and I am a freshman here at Mason. I am a Criminology Major and I have recently been considering minoring in either Spanish or Japanese Studies. I am a pretty quiet person, but I have many creative ideas and fun thoughts. If anyone knows me, they know that I am a very happy person; always smiling, always jolly and friendly. I’m not sure what I want to do with a Criminology degree yet, but hopefully I figure it out soon enough. I am from Brooklyn, New York and I love to write, specifically short stories and personal silhouettes about my life. I love listening to music and reading, My family is from the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Lucia and that has fueled my obsession with wanting to travel to many countries across the globe. I love learning about other cultures and someday I do hope to travel to places like Japan, Spain, France, Thailand, etc.
I’m not one who is a big fan of history, but The Digital Past seems to be a subject that I’m open to learning about. Technology has advanced over the course of decades and it will be interesting to discover how these advances came about. I’m excited for this semester of History 390 with all of you. Woo-Hoo!!
